Li Zhaoxing Holds Talks with Lithuanian Foreign Minister

On April 13, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks with visiting Lithuanian Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis in the office building of the Foreign Ministry. Li made positive comments on the status quo of development of bilateral relations, appreciated the Lithuanian government for adopting the one-China policy and expressed willingness to take the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as an opportunity to push for in-depth development of bilateral relations.

Valionis reaffirmed that the Lithuanian government attaches great importance to developing relations with China and will continue adhering to the one-China principle and continuously strengthen bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas.

Both sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common interest.
