President Hu Jintao Left Beijing for a Visit to 3 Southeast Asian Nations

At the invitation of Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of the Republic of Indonesia, and President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of the Republic of the Philippines, President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China left Beijing on the morning of April 20 2005 by a special plane for a state visit to the above-mentioned three nations. During his visit, President Hu will also attend 2005 Asia-Africa Summit and the commemoration events of the 50th anniversary of the Bandung Conference at the invitation of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of the Republic of Indonesia and President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa.

Among those who accompanied President Hu Jintao were his wife Liu Yongqing, Wang Gang, Alternate Member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, also Director of General Office of CPC Central Committee and Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, Minister of Finance Jin Renqing, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, Director Wang Huning of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, Director Chen Shiju of the Office of President Hu Jintao.
